ICE MASK

Charlie, a Tlingit Native American boy, wants desperately to become a mask maker like his grandpa was. But his dad thinks that would be a waste of time. A couple accidents of nature step in to help Charlie’s dream.

Hiding in each illustration is an historical Tlingit mask which will be shown and identified on the final pages along with a brief history of Indigenous people’s mask culture.
